You can pause an ongoing task at any time as required and resume it at a later time. This is helpful if you want to suspend a task in progress on the field for any reason so that the days covered by the suspension period will not be calculated for the task execution time.
- Only tasks in progress and have their progress updated at least once can be paused
Once a task is suspended, you cannot:
- Add or remove assigned crew members from a suspended task
- Change the progress percentage
- Add any predicted time to complete
- The assigned crew members cannot add their time card entries for any paused task
Use the following links to jump to the section you need help with:
Pause a Task
- Select the project
- Ensure the 'Task' > 'Pulled' tab is open
- Tap on the desired task to open the task details screen.
Tip: Use the date filter to view the tasks scheduled within a desired date range. Use the 'Search ' box at the top to search for the task you want to manage.
The color indicator (yellow) at the top shows the current status of the task.
- For tasks 'In progress,' a 'Pause' button appears in the middle of the color stripe
- Tap the 'Pause' button to suspend the task.
The task is paused, the color indicator changes to pale yellow, and the status is updated on the task card.
Resume task
You can revert the status of a paused task to 'In Progress' once you restarted a suspended task on the field.
- Open the 'Pulled' tab
- Tap on the paused task to open the task details screen.
Alternatively,
- You can identify and open the task management screen of a paused task from the 'All' tasks screen.
- Tap 'Resume' on the top.
Once a task is resumed, you can update and record their progress as usual.
