Linarc's comment feature within project documentation modules helps you communicate with stakeholders. You can add comments to project documents such as RFIs, submittals, punch lists, change orders, etc. These comments serve as a means to provide clarity, context, and transparency in the project document items throughout its life cycle.
You are allowed to include comments in project documents under various circumstances, including but not limited to the following situations:
- To justify why an RFI or submittal cannot be forwarded to the architect/engineer.
- To specify the necessary revisions required for a submittal.
- To clarify the reason behind rejecting an RFI or submittal
To add a comment
The comments pane appears on the right side of the project documents's response screen. It shows the comments added by the participants of the project document in chronological order.
- Enter your comment in the text box that
- Click 'Save'.
- Click the 'Pencil' icon at the right to edit the comment.
- Click the 'Delete' icon to delete the comment.
