The project portfolio console is the central hub for accessing the projects under your management. It additionally provides a comprehensive overview of statistics pertaining to different aspects of your ongoing projects and enables quick access to project-level management modules.
- The project portfolio console opens by default for users with project management function as the primary role, on their login.
- Click the app launcher button on the top-right and choose ' Portfolio' to open the project portfolio console if you are on a different console.
The menu items at the top provide access to various modules for project portfolio management.
The availability of the menu items on the top depends on the permissions included in the role(s) assigned to you by your company admin. The following list covers all possible menus:
- Company - View company-level information like the list of employees, company-level task code list, etc. See Company Information for more details.
- Project Listing- Open your ongoing projects, create new projects, join to collaborate on other company's projects, and more. You can also create and manage master projects, which collectively manage several interconnected, interrelated, or sequential entities as sub-projects. See the following sections to learn more:
- Document- Have holistic statistics and status of project documentation items like the RFIs and Submittals on all your managed projects. See the following sections to know more:
- Budget Analytics- Get high-level summary views of the financial data, including budgets, estimates, and change orders associated with your managed projects. You can also batch upload cost data for multiple projects at once for periodic and as-needed job cost journaling. See the following sections to know more:
- Schedule - Get essential details, high-level statistics, and statuses of scheduled tasks across all your projects. See 'View Portfolio Schedule Report' to know more.
The perpetual buttons on the top right of the interface allow you to view the notifications, update your user profile and settings, open the online user guide, open your projects overview console, and log out.
- | Allows you to switch between different Linarc consoles, like the company admin console, project management console, and payroll managment console. The availability of the consoles depends on the permissions defined for the role(s) assigned to you. | |
- | Opens the notifications widget to view the messages auto-generated by Linarc for various activities on the project, that require your attention. The number of new/unread notifications is indicated beside the bell icon. See View Notifications for more details. | |
- | Opens the in-app help widget with the online help page relevant to the interface you are in. The widget contains shortcuts to access our full knowledge base to get help on any task. | |
- | Allows you to send your feedback, suggestions and comments to Linarc. Your feedback helps Linarc to understand what is working well and what areas need improvement. Whether it's a suggestion for a new feature, a comment on the usability of our products, or any other input you may have, we are eager to hear from you. | |
- | Your user icon with profile picture or initials. Click the icon to update your profile and log out of the console. |
