The Project Portfolio Budget report provides an overview of the budgets set up for your projects, and the effects of change orders on them. The report also provides shortcuts to the respective project's budget module.
Roles and Permissions: The Project Portfolio report is available only to users with 'View' permission for the portfolio reports enabled in their role.
View the portfolio budget report
- Login to your project portfolio management console
- Click 'Budget Analytics' on the top, then select 'Budget' on the left
- Project - The name of the project. Click the name to open the 'Budget' module of the respective project. See View Allotted budget for more details.
- Total Budget - The current total budget of the project.
- PM Name - The primary project manager of the project
- Original Bid - The initial budget of the project without the effect of change orders
- Change Order - The total value of the approved change orders pertaining to the project
- Sub's Value - The total value of amounts allocated for the external subcontractor cost type in the budget line items
- Earned Value - The planned cost of the work completed so far, calculated as the Budgeted Cost of Work Performed (BCWP) from the total budget and the completion percentage
Search and filter options:
- Use the 'Search' box at the top left to find the projects or projects with a specified amounts in any category by using the name or number as search criteria
- Click the
icon to select the projects to show or hide in the list - Click the
icon at the top-right to select the columns to show or hide
Download the report
- Click the
icon at the top-right to download the list portfolio budget report as an Excel file
