Linarc lets you add guest users at any time by manually entering their contact details. This is especially useful if you have to add them during a specific phase of a project temporarily and remove later. You can add users, assign specific roles, and invite them to collaborate on various modules within the project.
The guest users:
- Can have access only to the items to which they are added to the workflow and not to the other project modules
- Cannot create, own, or manage teams like RFI, submittals, and change orders
- Cannot access the assigned item on lapse of the due date set to them for their action
Roles and permissions: Only users with roles possessing 'Maintain' or above permissions enabled for the 'Project Guest Invites' module can add guest users to a project.
To add a guest user
- Ensure that you are in the management console to the project
- Click the app launcher , select 'Project,' then select 'My Team' on the top.
- Click 'Guests' from the options on the left
- Click the '+ Add Member' button at the top-right
- Enter the guest user e-mail id and click 'Next'
- Enter the following details of the guest user:
- First Name and Last Name - The full name of the individual to be added.
- Company Name - The name of the guest user's affiliated company.
- Company Type - The nature of the guest user company's work.
- Company Role in Project - The specific role or function of the guest user's company within the project.
- User Role - The role that the guest user will assume within the project.
- Access Allowed - Specify the modules or areas within the project to which the guest user is granted access.
Upon adding a guest user, you can effortlessly integrate them into the project's workflows, specifically within the modules to which they have been granted access.
- Linarc automatically sends invitations to these guest users whenever they are included in a workflow.
- These invitations seamlessly enable the guest users to accept, respond, and align with their designated tasks and responsibilities within the project.
