The 'Crew Assigned' screen lets contractors manage allotment of their crew members and other field workers, to the project. You can allot different groups of crew members to different shifts. Each group is supervised by the foreman assigned to that shift.
- Foremen receive the tasks assigned by the project manager on their mobile app and create weekly or short-term pull schedules depending on various factors like material availability, site situation, weather, etc. They assign crew and set up actual start dates for each pulled task.
- Each field crew member receives their task on a daily basis, works on them, and marks their timesheets through their mobile app.
Depending on various factors like the demand, resource availability, work progress, schedule deadlines, etc., you can dynamically schedule and assign crew members to different projects and to different work shifts. The foreman can assess the resources allotted to their shift and assign field tasks to them accordingly.
Prerequisite: The crew members you want to add to a project should have already been added as employees to your company account. This includes your regular staff and workers hired on an ad-hoc or temporary basis, like truck drivers, machine operators, skilled artisans, etc.
