The Schedule Dashboard

The schedule dashboard gives a quick overview with dynamic charts and tables on schedules of tasks, their progress, and performance. It gives you a heads-up on upcoming events, milestones, checkpoints, and more. With a summary of labor productivity, time predictability, baseline impacts, and others, it assists the project managers to handle the project in compliance with the schedule.

The dashboards are slightly different for the general contractor and subcontractors. The charts shown are dependent on your role in the project.  

To open a schedule dashboard

  • Open the management console for the project
  • Click the app launcher  , then select 'Schedule'
  • Click 'Analytics' on the top and select 'Dashboard' on the left.

The dashboard shows the following cards and charts:

General contractors only:

Subcontractors only:

Days Planned

  • Shows a quick overview of the estimated project period and the performance of the project with the schedule.

  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Task Performance

  • Shows the progress of the tasks and their status.

  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Slippages/Advances

This card shows the impacts on the project when tasks are delayed or advanced from the scheduled date.

  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Milestones & Checkpoints

  • Shows the imminent checkpoint, milestone, and estimated number of days for execution.

  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Punchlist Impact

The card shows the effect of punch list items added to the schedule:

  • Items Remaining- The number of punch list items waiting for approval.
  • Extra days added to schedule- The number of additional days taken.

Overall Progress

  • Shows the summary of the proceedings of the project, including critical paths, critical tasks, and overdue tasks. 

It helps the project managers to keep track of overdue tasks and take necessary steps to execute them.

  • Place your mouse on the chart to see more details.

  • Project Progress-The performance of the project with the schedule
  • Overdue Tasks- The tasks that are exceeding the predicted schedule time and are yet to be completed.
  • Critical Path Tasks- The sequence of tasks that must be completed on time to execute the project in compliance with the schedule. 
  • Critical Path Tasks overdue- The tasks in the critical path that are yet to be completed
  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Project Performance

  • This chart shows an overview of the project execution, comparing the planned and actual performance.  

Milestones

  • For General contractors the table gives a heads-up on the milestones, their status and their schedule.

  • For subcontractors, milestones are displayed in the form of a donut chart.
  • Shows the status of the milestones based on their execution stage.

  • Place your mouse on a sector to see more details.
Note: The cards listed below are applicable only to general contractors.

Task Distribution

  • Shows the breakdown of tasks of different trades with respective contractors:

  • Place your mouse on the chart to see more details.
  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Time Period

This card shows a dynamic chart of the currently running tasks and the tasks that are overdue in a week.

  • Place your mouse on the chart to see more details.
  • Click the icon at the top right to view the current data

Critical Path

  • Shows the progress of the critical tasks with respect to its schedule

  • Place your mouse on the chart to see more details.

Baseline Impact

  • The cards indicate the effect of tasks and critical tasks performance over the baseline 

Note: The cards listed below are applicable only to subcontractors.

Time Predictability

Weekly Task Summary

This table serves as a reminder for weekly tasks scheduled and gives a quick overview of the upcoming tasks along with their needs and paths.

  • Task Code- The task code in compliance with the CSI master format
  • Task Name- The name of the task to be done
  • Crew Planned- The workers assigned to the task
  • Status- The stage of execution of the project
  • Equipment needs- The equipment required to complete the task
  • Material Needs- The list of materials required to execute the task
  • Critical Path- The sequence of tasks that must be completed on time to execute the project in compliance with the schedule. 

Labor Productivity

The bar chart shows the efficiency of the laborers along with the progress of the project to give a heads-up on the efficacy of the performance.

  • Place your mouse on the chart to see more details.

  • Labor Hours- The total work hours of the laborers worked on the project site
  • Project Progress- The performance of the project with the schedule
  • Overall Progress- 

Status Distribution

The donut chart shows the breakdown of the tasks scheduled based on the status of their progress.
