The Payroll Console

Modified on Wed, 30 Oct at 2:31 AM

The cloud-based Linarc payroll system can generate periodic payrolls using data fetched from attendance records and the tasks your employees perform. The fully automated process relieves you from the manual work of entering the time card data for each employee for every payroll generation cycle. You can also configure the system to send auto-generated payroll reports to a specified email address at the end of every payroll cycle. You can also manually download required payroll reports at any time.

The payroll console lets you configure the system for the periodic payroll generation, set up hourly base wage rates of your employees, configure shift differential rates and overtime rates, and more.

In addition to automated payroll generation, you can manually create on-demand payrolls. This is useful if payroll entries for some persons fail in an automated payroll after reconciling those entries.

The menu items on the top provide you access to various components of the payroll console:

  • Setup - Configure shifts, shift differential rates, payroll generation dates, and more. See Payroll settings for more details.
  • Payroll - View the list of all payrolls generated so far, generate on-demand payroll, and download the required payroll reports as PDF files. See View current payroll, Generate on-demand payroll, and View and download payrolls for more details. You can also assess the details like attendance; tasks worked on each day, wages earned so far, etc., for any employee for the current payroll period from this screen. See View Earnings Details of an Employee for more details.
  • Rates - Upload and update the hourly base wage rates of your employees. See Manage Employee Hourly Rates for more details. See Manage employee hourly rates for more details.
