The Foreman app lets you create field schedules with pull planning for a set number of days, say for a week, two weeks, or a month. Pull tasks from the planned tasks and schedule them for execution on certain days. You can select tasks depending on the completion of predecessor tasks, weather, availability of labor and equipment resources, materials, and more.
To pull tasks for the field schedule
- Open the 'Foreman' app
- Select the project
- Tap the 'Task' menu at the bottom tab bar
- Ensure that the 'Planned' tab is open
- Tap 'Select' at the top right
- Select the tasks you want to pull
- Tap 'Pull' at the bottom
The next step is to set the start date for the selected tasks:
- Touch the date and time fields to set the date and time to start the tasks
- Tap 'OK'
The tasks add to the pull schedule.
- Repeat the process to schedule the tasks to execute for the successive dates and create the pull schedule for the required period.
- Touch the 'Pulled' tab at the top to view the pulled tasks
Each task is shown as a card with details, including the planned start/end dates per the project schedule, the estimated effort hours, and the crew members assigned to it.
- Tap a task card to view more details and manage it. See Manage scheduled tasks for more.
