Linarc’s Toolbox Talks feature provides a structured method for planning, conducting, and documenting safety meetings across construction projects. Aligned with OSHA standards and adaptable to organization-specific needs, this helps to streamline the safety training process and maintain a consistent record of compliance.
Toolbox Talks can be initiated and managed via both the web and mobile apps, supporting a wide range of field and office roles. The feature allows users to access curated safety topics, organize meetings, capture digital acknowledgments, and generate formalized reports, all within a unified platform.
Toolbox Talks Library- A centralized repository of safety meeting topics, including a pre-loaded set of OSHA-compliant content. Each topic contains a descriptive title, OSHA references, and optional summaries. The library is maintained at the portfolio level, giving project managers visibility and control over all the projects they are currently managing. Organizations can also create and manage custom safety topics tailored to specific site conditions or internal policies, with the ability to attach relevant documentation.
Custom Toolbox Topic Creation- Organizations can create their own safety topics to address unique job site conditions or internal safety procedures. Each custom topic includes a user-defined title and description, with the option to upload supporting documents such as PDFs, images, or written procedures. These custom entries are stored alongside OSHA topics in the centralized library for future use.
Meeting Creation and Scheduling- Users can create Toolbox Talk events by selecting a topic from the library, setting the date, time, and managing attendee lists. Attendees can be added manually or selected from predefined user profiles, supporting flexibility in planning and execution. Meetings can be scheduled by selecting specific projects, ensuring that only relevant topics are assigned to each project. This helps maintain focus and relevance for all safety discussions across different job sites.
Digital Attendee Acknowledgment- Meeting participation is captured through digital signatures, timestamped to ensure accuracy. Organizers can view real-time attendance status and identify incomplete acknowledgments with visual indicators.
PDF Report Generation- Upon meeting completion, the project managers can generate a downloadable PDF report containing all relevant event details, including topic information, attendee list with embedded signatures. Links to OSHA source documents and other attachments are also included for quick reference.
