Monitoring project progress is essential for evaluating alignment between the planned schedule and the actual execution at different points in time. Linarc's Scheduler interface lets you place Status Line markers to capture snapshots of tasks' progress on any day throughout the project's life cycle.
These markers help you visualize and compare how scheduled tasks were performing on the key dates. With status lines, you can instantly track planned vs. completed progress, identify trends, and analyze progress shifts across multiple time points, all within your Gantt view.
- Create and manage multiple status line markers to maintain a detailed record of schedule progress, allowing you to track progress across all important points in the project timeline.
Status lines can only be created for the current date to log real-time task progress using color-coded markers for key dates like check-ins or deadlines.
Only one status line can be added per day, but you can create and delete status lines as often as needed throughout the project.
Compare up to three status line markers at a time to analyze changes and identify delays or improvements through visual progress comparisons.
Pin the progress details of up to three tasks for any selected status line marker and view planned vs. completed status with clear visual highlights, keeping them visible while navigating the rest of the schedule.
Select a status line you want to add a colored indicator on task bars, providing instant visual cues on progress changes for that specific date.
Note: Status lines are visible in both the Gantt view and the Grid & Gantt split view, allowing you to track progress seamlessly across different layouts.
