View and Download Completed RFIs

The 'Closed RFI List' interface of the project management portal shows the list of completed RFIs in which you were a participant. You can download the RFI document as a PDF version, containing the complete details and questions and answers. From this screen, you can:

Digital Signatures

If DocuSign integration is enabled, the RFI manager can obtain the digital signatures of the stakeholders involved in the RFI, as required.

  • The RFI manager invites the signatories to endorse the document once the RFI is closed. See Invite signatories to learn more. 
  • The invitees get notified, review and sign the document from the DocuSign portal.
  • Once all the invitees complete signing the document, the signed document will be available for download.

View and download RFI documents

  • Ensure that you are in the management console of the project
  • Click the app launcher  and select 'Documents'
  • Click 'RFI' on the top
  • Select 'Completed' from the options on the left

The screen shows a list of all completed RFIs with their details:

Standard  columns:

  • PDF - Allows you to view and download the PDF version of the submittal, which includes comprehensive details such as all requests, submissions, notes, and more.
    • Click to open the PDF in another browser tab
    • Click to download a local copy of the PDF
Note:Additionally, the submittal PDF is stored in the project's cloud storage within the 'RFI' folder for archive purposes.See View Folders and Files for more details
  • RFI No. - The serial number assigned to the RFI
  • Title - The subject of the RFI. Click the title to open an RFI.
  • Question - The query raised in the RFI
  • Answers - The responses received from stakeholders as clarifications for the query
  • RFI Type - The classification of the RFI based on its purpose. Whether the RFI is for clarification, confirmation, missing details in the specs/plans, etc. 
  • Created On - The date and time at which the RFI was generated.
  • Completed On - The due date of the RFI per its workflow setup. 
  • Trade Type - The discipline of the work to which the RFI is related 
  • Priority - The criticality of the RFI
  • Sub Type - The sub-classification of the RFI type
  • Location - The location in the constructed structure to which the RFI is related
  • Schedule Impact and Cost Impact - Whether the RFI and its context affect the cost and timelines of the associated tasks 
  • Specification Code - The section in the spec book related to the RFI

Custom Columns:

The table is extended with more columns for custom parameters, if any, specified for the project.

Search and filter options:

View Details of a RFI

  • Click the serial number of a RFI row to select it. 

  • A slider opens on the right with the summary of details of the RFI.
  • Scroll down to view the question and responses, along with their attachments
  • Click the icon to open the RFI in a new browser tab
