Responsible team members, typically project managers from the general contractor and the design teams with the required permissions, can upload complete plan drawing sets—such as floor plans, site plans, elevation drawings, and landscape plans—in PDF format to the project. Linarc automatically processes the files, extracts individual sheets, identifies the sheet numbers and titles, and displays them in the Plan Sheets interface.
- Organized viewing: Sheets are neatly organized for quick navigation.
- Controlled sharing: Grant access to selected team members, stakeholders, and collaborator companies.
- Cross-platform access: Shared plan sheets are available on both the web console and the mobile app for seamless field and office coordination.
Plan Sheet Numbers and Sheet Names: When you upload a plan set PDF, Linarc’s AI automatically splits it into individual sheets and reads the sheet numbers, date and titles. It uses advanced algorithms to identify this information accurately, even when formats vary or data isn’t in standard locations. The system focuses only on the current sheet and extracts consistent titles and numbers.
- Saves time by eliminating manual data entry
- Ensures accurate and consistent labeling
- Automatically categorizes construction documents for easy access
- Organizes drawings for faster search and retrieval
- Supports better collaboration across project teams
The plan drawings are also available to all team members and project managers to whom they are shared, for attachment to change orders, requests for information (RFIs), submittals, punch lists, etc.
Linarc also supports version control. You can upload any number of new plans or revised versions of the existing plans to the project throughout its lifecycle. Your colleagues will see the latest version by default. However, if required, they can also view the previous versions of the plans.
