The list views in various modules like RFI, Submittals, Change Orders, etc., show up with the default columns as shipped with Linarc. But you can customize the table by adding more columns or removing existing columns and rearranging the order of columns. This is useful to organize the values you are focusing on and the order in which you want to view the details.
The list views in various modules like RFIs, Submittals, and Change Orders in Linarc come with a set of default columns preconfigured for convenience. However, you can fully customize these views to suit your specific needs. This includes adding new columns to display additional data, removing unnecessary columns, and rearranging the order of columns for optimal view and analysis. These customization options make it easier to focus on the most relevant information and organize details in a sequence that aligns with your priorities.
You can also include your column customization to create custom views of the grid to show the items organized in a specific manner. See Manage Custom List Views to learn more.
The process of column selection works consistently across all table views. In this article, we use the RFI list view as an example, but the same method can be applied to any table, allowing you to select columns based on your specific requirements in any context.
To select and customize columns
- Right-click on the table header
The left pane shows all available columns.
- Select the rows to be shown on the table. The selected rows are added to the list on the right
- After enabling the required columns, arrange the columns in the right pane by dragging and dropping them to establish the desired order for their appearance in the table.
- Click 'Apply' for your selection to take effect.
