Linarc makes it easy to back up and synchronize your project files with popular cloud storage services like Google Drive, SharePoint and Egnyte.
- External drive connections are configured at the company level, making linked drives available across all projects.
- Only one external drive can be configured per project at a time.
- Files uploaded or generated in Linarc automatically synchronize to the selected external drive.
External stakeholders without Linarc access can view and use shared project documents directly from the external drive from any where, at any time, using any device.
The Auto Sync feature updates files instantly, while manual sync provides flexibility to update files on demand and avoid duplication of effort.
- Google Drive Bi-directional Sync: Integrating Google Drive allows for seamless bi-directional synchronization. It automatically pushes project files from Linarc to Google Drive while instantly importing any new files added to the Drive folder back into your Linarc project repository.
When the integration is enabled, a dedicated folder is automatically created for the project within the chosen external drive. All files from Linarc are synchronized to this location, ensuring that the external drive remains fully aligned with the project repository.
Prerequisite: Before syncing project files to an external drive, the external drive must be configured at the company level. For assistance, please contact your company administrator.
