You can edit the contact details, the role assigned, and other details of an employee at any time from the Employee's Details pane.
Edit the details of an employee:
- Log in to the company management console
- Click 'Employees' > 'Active'
The list of enrolled employees and workers is shown.
- Select an employee to open their details pane on the right
The information pane shows the contact details and role details:
- Change the details as required:
- User ID - The username of the employee used to log in to their Linarc platform. This is not editable.
- First Name and Last Name - The full name of the employee
- Employee ID - The identity number of the employee on your company records
- Email Address - The contact email address of the employee. This is the address to which the automated emails from the Linarc portal are sent. You can change the address if required. The mails are sent to the new address from this point.
- Contact Numbers - The contact phone numbers of the employee. This includes the landline number and mobile phone number. You can change the existing number or add new numbers. This contact number will be used for user verification and authentication; for example, when the user resets their password, an OTP will be sent to this number for verification.
- Employee Title - The job title or position of the employee in your organization. Change this if required.
- Roles - The user role assigned to the employee in the Linarc platform. You can change the employee's role, for example, when the employee is promoted to a new position.
- Click the button at the top for your changes to take effect.
Once the e-mail address of the employee is changed, he/she will receive a notification on the new e-mail address for verification with a link to reset the password for security.
The employee should change the password to login to the system in the future. See Change your password for more details.
