Assigning permissions to user roles allows the administrators to control who can do what within the Linarc Platform, aligning access levels with users' responsibilities and the needs of the projects. Each module has various objects entitled to them, and each object can be given permissions on multiple levels for the user. The available permissions are:
- Create - Users with the 'Create' permission are allowed to create new objects within the modules they can access. This might include creating new projects, tasks, documents, or other relevant entities.
- Manage - Users with 'Manage' permissions can view, respond, and edit objects created/ owned and assigned by all stakeholders.
- Maintain -Users granted the 'Maintain' permission can only view, respond to, and edit objects created/owned by them. Additionally, they can view objects assigned to them and created by other stakeholders, broadening their visibility across the entire project or organizational landscape.
- View- The 'View' permission allows users only to see the details of specific objects they own or have created. They cannot see the details of objects owned or created by other stakeholders.
- View All- Users with the 'View All' permission can see all objects owned and created by all stakeholders but cannot edit or manage them.
Module specific Permissions
In addition to the default permissions, there are specific permissions exclusive to different modules. You can assign these permissions to users to allow and restrict users to perform actions within the modules. For instance, explicit permissions to the RFI module include 'Add Question,' 'Add Description,' 'Respond,' etc.
