The 'Permissions' module in the company admin console allows you to create custom roles for assignment to your employees. Each role is defined with a set of permissions to access various consoles, modules, and mobile applications in the Linarc platform.
- The custom roles are available for selection when adding a new employee to your company.
- User privileges depend on the roles assigned to them. You can create roles with different access privileges and assign them to your employees as required.
- A single user can be assigned any number of roles.
- By default, the role assigned when adding an employee to your company is set as their primary role. You can assign more roles to the same person as required. You can also change the primary role at any time.
- You can remove roles assigned to a user at any time.
- Custom roles can also be created with view-only privileges. These allow staff to view assigned modules but not make changes.
- The ‘Account Administrator’ role is assigned to the person who signed up for the Linarc account. This role cannot be edited.
The role-based access control enhances security and ensures that users only have the necessary permissions to execute their responsibilities.
